Terms of Service

1. Introduction
By creating an account or using C-chat, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, and be a legitimate representative of the business you register.
3. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activity under it. Tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.
4. Service scope and limitations
C-chat provides an AI agent, inbox, product catalog, shop policies, WhatsApp connection, and analytics. Features may change with notice. The service is provided as-is, without guarantees of error-free or fully secure operation.
5. Your data
You own your data. You grant us a license to process it only to provide the service. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Acceptable use
Do not send spam or fraudulent content. Read the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Fees and subscription
The subscription is TSh 15,000 per month or TSh 144,000 per year (a 20% saving). Billing renews each month or year until you cancel. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
8. Intellectual property
C-chat, its features and design are the property of C-chat and are protected by copyright and trademark. Do not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer them without written permission.
9. Third-party services
Connecting WhatsApp is subject to the relevant provider's policies (Meta). C-chat is not responsible for the availability or performance of external services.
10. Disclaimer
The service is provided as-is without warranties — we do not warrant error-free or fully secure operation.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, C-chat is not liable for indirect losses or loss of profit or data. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months or $100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend C-chat against claims arising from your use, your breach of these Terms or the law, or infringement of others' rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend access for conduct that violates these Terms; the right of use ends immediately, and data is retained in line with the Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
Tanzanian law applies; disputes are heard in Tanzanian courts unless otherwise agreed in writing.
15. Amendments
We may update these Terms with notice by email or inside the service; continued use counts as acceptance of the changes.
